Dr. Jacob Hoskins has walked the healing path firsthand. What began as a personal necessity grew into a lifelong devotion to mastering the healing arts. Today, he offers a truly integrative approach that bridges modern clinical techniques with ancient wisdom supporting the body and mind to function at their highest potential.

With over 20 years of hands-on clinical experience, Jacob’s treatments blend acupuncture, orthopaedic techniques, electro-medicine, herbal therapy, cupping, gua sha, and manual therapy. His care is results-driven yet deeply intuitive sought after by busy professionals who value time, precision, and impact.

Jacob’s journey began not in medicine, but in the kitchen as a chef passionate about the alchemy of food and its role in healing. That early fascination evolved into formal training in remedial massage (graduating in 2004 from the Australian College of Natural Medicine), and ultimately, a full integration with Chinese Medicine and herbal therapy.

Jacob practiced for years at the Fitzroy Chinese Medicine Clinic before relocating to the heritage-listed Pleasance House on Collins Street in 2020. He now sees patients by appointment in both Melbourne CBD and Sandringham.
